Bobby V
He’s had No. 1 singles, platinum and gold albums, has toured the world and has appeared on songs with Lil Wayne, Ludacris & 50 Cents among many others. Six years into a remarkable solo career, Bobby V (formerly Bobby Valentino) has experienced the best the music industry has to offer while working with some of the game’s elite.
“Being in this industry for over ten years, having three successful albums, touring the world, and having an impact on people’s lives through my music has been a dream come true. Bobby V released his fourth album, “Fly On The Wall” through his own Blu Kolla Dreams label via Capitol Records on March 22nd, and it sees him evolving and growing immensely.
Case in point is Bobby’s classic R&B single “WORDS” which is currently burning up the Mainstream Urban Charts. Bobby’s single “WORDS” has gained so much recognition that R&B Veteran R Kelly collaborated with Bobby V on a remix for the single which is in power rotation at radio stations throughout the country.
Bobby V’s cover of the classic Bobby Brown jam, “Rock Wit’Cha,” is also heating up the charts. Bobby V’s take is so sexy, slick, and scorching that Bobby Brown joined him on the Lopez Tonight stage to perform the 1989 hit together. With Brown’s approval and Bobby V’s inimitable swagger, the song quickly became a fan favorite, and their demand is making it another hit.
From virtually any angle, Bobby V’s career seems to be heaven sent. Bobby scored a hit when he was only 15 years old with as one-fourth of the 1990s R&B group Mista, with “Blackberry Molasses,” a tune produced by Organized Noize (OutKast, TLC) that became a Top 20 R&B hit. Even with this success, Mista dissolved. Bobby V then enrolled at Clark Atlanta University, where he graduated with a communications degree and developed a keen business sense.
Reintroduced in 2005 with “Slow Down,” Bobby V quickly reignited his career. His debut solo album, 2005’s Disturbing Tha Peace Presents Bobby Valentino, earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. He then sang the chorus on Ludacris’ hit “Pimpin’ All over the World” and toured in 2005 on the blockbuster Scream tour.
In 2007, Bobby V returned with Special Occasion, which featured the Timbaland produced hit “Anonymous,” and Rodney Jerkins produced “Turn the Page” His third album, 2009’s The Rebirth, featured the hit “Beep” and was the first album released on his own Blu Kolla Dreams imprint, in conjunction with Capitol Records which debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Hip Hop and R&B chart.
As Bobby V’s career continues expanding, he makes a point to give back to those who are less fortunate. Through his Bobby V Foundation, the singer encourages people to value and to pursue higher education.
“I had the opportunity to go to college and graduate. That accomplishment is something I am very proud of and one nobody can take away from me. Through my foundation I want to give kids the same opportunity.”
With a string of hit singles and albums, a burgeoning record label and a charitable foundation inspiring the youth, Bobby V is ready to give his fans another album that thrills them as much as it entertains them. “Through this album I want my fans to feel like my entourage. I want them to walk every step of the way with me until we reach the top”.

VJ TnT
Ky-mani Rudolph Davis III (VJ TnT) was born in George Town, Grand Cayman. TNT has been in the DJ game since 1988, he started out playing at school concerts and parties and quickly moved on up into the clubs and outdoor dances around the island. TNT always makes mention of VJ Neil Sam who taught the young man at the time to mix music, scratch and gave him the tools to hopefully be very successful one day at entertaining in the DJ arena.
TNT was introduced to music by his Father, the late Rudolph Davis II, R.I.P., this helped in learning how to play all kinds of different music ranging from, Souls, Ballads, Disco, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Dancehall, Soca, Punta to name a few. This was extremely effective when it came down to entertaining a wide variety of people young and old.
TNT favoured sounds like Stone Love, 4×4 Exodus, Bass Odyssey, Silverhawk, Travellers, Kilimanjaro, David Rodigan to name a few. As far as dj’s go he paid special attention to icons like Lazaro Mendez (Power 96 Miami), Felix Sama(Hot 95 Miami), Raymond Melendez (Power 96 Miami), Red Alert (WBLS New York), Funkmaster Flex (Hot 97 New York). He picked up a little something from each of those people and created his own style.
After graduating from High School, TNT joined forces with a local Caymanian sound called New Generation Disco. The sound was a young sound with some determined youth. Selectors Jason Hamilton (Jugga) R.I.P., Jerome Myrie (Turtle) R.I.P. was the heart and soul of the sound. Fadda Wayne the owner, TNT, Festa, Kristen, Tom, John Paul and the Central Crew along with an entourage of supporters and fans made waves in the islands in the late 1990’s. Years later new Generation succumbed to Hurricane Ivan but TNT was still on a mission to be heard. He joined the ranks of another popular local sound called Renegade Sound system. This is where TNT and the well known John D Baptist (Selector Renegade) who now resides in Miami made their start to become well known selectors. Renegade like New Generation moved like a family and was team players this is what attracted TNT to the sound. Together with Mally, Garth, Clarky, Chin Yee, Big Bram, Renegade sound made a lethal impact on changing the game in the latter 90’s in Grand Cayman.
Some of VJ TNT’s accomplishments include being an International judge at the Green Synergy finals between Grand Cayman and Jamaica, participating in the 2003 World Clash and winning the US Rumble in the Bronx New York with Poison Dart. He was also a selector on the popular Miami based sound system “Black Chiney and pays respect to Bobby Chin and Supa Dups for showing him the business side of being a DJ and exposing him to playing for multicultural audiences. TNT is now one of the major live jocks on 989 The Vibe and feels good to be a part of the team. Keep your ears to the street to see what this young veteran has planned for you the listener.
